The short version: Jr Tee Time is a directory you can browse completely anonymously, and browsing is what almost everyone does. There is no booking or enrollment form. Courses you save, the children you add to the planner, and your location all stay on your own device and are never sent to us.
Accounts are the one exception, and they are optional. If you choose to make one, we hold your email address. We hold no password, because signing in works by emailed link. You never need an account to search, filter, save a course, plan a week, or reach a provider — and we still collect nothing at all about your child.
Jr Tee Time ("we," "us," "our") operates a directory that helps parents and guardians in Central Florida find and compare junior golf camps, clinics, academies, and tours.

Jr Tee Time is intended for parents and legal guardians who are 18 or older. It is not directed to children, and there is nothing on the site for a child to sign up for or submit.
The same applies to accounts: an account is for an adult. You must be 18 or older to create one, and there is no account of any kind for a child.
If you do not create an account, we collect no personal information from you at all. There is no booking form and no enrollment request on this site. You can search, filter, save courses, plan a week, open the map, and follow a link to any provider without telling us anything about yourself or your child.
Everything in the table below either stays on your device, or moves only because you deliberately made it move. The right-hand column says which:

The location pin in the top bar offers one thing: "Find courses near me", which asks your browser where you are and opens the map. Your browser will prompt you, and you can say no. The directory works exactly the same either way — sorted alphabetically rather than by distance — and the map still opens, it simply cannot draw how far anything is from you.
If you allow it, your coordinates are used entirely inside your own browser to calculate distance to each course, and are saved on your device so you aren't asked again on your next visit. They are never transmitted to us, and we have no server that could receive them. Choose "Clear my location" from the same pin menu to remove what is stored, or clear your browser's site data.
Distances are calculated to the center of each course's city rather than to a street address, so they are approximate — shown with a "~" throughout.
We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party cookies.
When you click through to a golf course's own website, the link includes standard UTM parameters identifying Jr Tee Time as the referral source. This tells the course that a visitor came from our directory. It contains no information about you, and we receive nothing back — we cannot see whether you clicked, what you did next, or whether you enrolled.
Accounts are not open yet. This section is published ahead of them deliberately. The previous version of this policy promised an updated policy before any new feature began collecting information, not after — this is that update. It describes exactly what an account holds, and it takes effect the day sign-in opens. Until then there is nothing to sign into, and nothing in this section applies to anybody.
You will never need an account to use the directory. Searching, filtering, saving courses, planning a week and following a link to a provider all work signed out, exactly as they do today. An account exists so that a coach already listed here can ask to manage their own listing, and so that the parent features described on our About page have somewhere to sign in when they are built. Those parent features are not built. If they ever collect anything beyond what is listed below, this policy will say so first.

That is the whole list. No address, no date of birth, no phone number, no payment details, and — as everywhere else on this site — nothing whatsoever about a child. An account does not upload your saved courses, your location, your profile, or the children you may have added to "Plan My Week". All of those stay on your device, signed in or not.
Signing in works by emailing you a link. You type your address, we ask our provider to send a one-time link, and opening it signs you in on that device. We never create, receive, or store a password — so there is no password of yours for us to lose.
Because the link signs in whoever opens it, treat it like a key: it is meant for the inbox it was sent to. Links expire. What the link leaves behind is stored on your own device, and signing out removes it.
Coach listings here were compiled from coaches’ own public pages, the same way every other listing was, and they stay published whether anyone claims them or not. A coach who wants to manage theirs asks us, and a person checks by hand that they are who they say they are. That request holds, on top of the account details above:
None of this is published. It is read by us to make the decision and for nothing else. Other people cannot see that you claimed a listing, and cannot see a competing claim on the same one.
Email alerts are not switched on yet. This section is published ahead of them for the same reason section 4 is: this policy promises an updated version before a new feature begins collecting anything, not after. Today the only alerts are the saved searches in section 3, which never leave your device. Nothing described below is happening, and nothing here applies to anybody until it is.
If you ask us to email you when a junior golf program opens near you, here is everything that would be stored:

Nothing about your child. Not a name, not a birthday, not a photograph — only the age range you searched for, which is a number you chose.
We would never sell or share your address. If we ever show a golf course how many families near them are looking for a junior program, they see a count for an area — never a person, an address, or an individual search.
Ask us to delete it at any time at thejrteetime@yahoo.com and it goes, along with every alert attached to it.
Jr Tee Time is directed to parents and guardians, not to children. We do not collect personal information from children. Nothing here is aimed at a child, there is nothing for a child to sign up for, and there is no mechanism on this site through which a child could submit information to us even if they tried.
Accounts change nothing about this. An account is for an adult and holds an adult’s email address. It has no field for a child’s name, age, date of birth, school, photograph, or anything else — and the children you may add to "Plan My Week" stay on your device whether you are signed in or not.
If you believe any information about a child has somehow reached us, contact thejrteetime@yahoo.com and we will delete it promptly.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we never will. We have no advertisers, no data brokers, and no marketing partners. We do not give your email address to any golf course, coach, or program listed on this site, and creating an account does not put you on a mailing list.
The service providers below operate the site's infrastructure and may process ordinary technical data in the course of delivering pages to you:

A note on the map, because it is the one place a third party learns something about where you are looking. The map screen loads its images from CARTO, built on OpenStreetMap data. Opening it tells CARTO your IP address and which area of the map you have on screen. If you have shared your location with us, the map is framed around you, so the area on screen implies roughly where you are — not an address, but more than nothing.
Two things that remain true. Your location itself is still never sent to us or to anyone else: it stays in your browser and is used in the page to work out distances. And if you never open the map, no request to CARTO is ever made. Every other page of this site loads no map code at all.
If we are ever legally required to disclose information by law, subpoena, or court order, we will comply — though in practice we hold nothing about you to disclose.
Every listing links out to the golf course's or program's own website. Once you follow that link, you are on their site and their privacy practices apply — including anything you fill in on their registration or contact forms. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for how they handle your information. We encourage you to read the provider's own privacy policy before submitting anything to them.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We are still building toward features that would change this picture — in particular a booking request system, which would pass a parent’s contact details and a child’s first name and age to a provider, and accounts for courses managing their own listings. Neither of those is live today, and the accounts described in section 4 do neither.
We will publish an updated policy describing exactly what is collected, why, how long it is kept, and how to delete it — before any such feature begins collecting information, not after. Where the law requires notice or consent for changes affecting information about children, we will obtain it first.
When we make any change, we will update the version number and "Last updated" date and record it in the history below.
